who knew?

This weekend we took an impromtu trip to Sam's Club in Altoona. Tim found a day-pass on-line and around 1:00 we decided to hit the road. I'm surprised how much fun we had and how well the kids hung in there. Ava has had a wicked cough since Thursday, and today was no exception. She fell asleep about 5 minutes from Sam's, so we had to wake her up to go shopping. They really have sooo much stuff there! By the end of our trip, Andy and Ava were smooshed into the cart with alot of food around them! Oh, that was probably their favorite part, the food samples! Andy sampled something from every single cart..breaded scallops, apple slices, power aide water, ice cream, etc. (and had seconds at some as well)! We ended up with bulk chicken salad, applesauce, fruit-by-the-foot, oatmeal, pancake mix, some baby outfits for an upcoming shower, etc. Afterwards we decided to go to Outback Steakhouse...none of us had ever been there...very good! Overall, a great day!
