BASEBALL UPDATE...

Andy has had a great baseball season so far! His team, the Angels, made it to the championship round against the Pirates. We lost the first game, won the second game and it came down to the third game, which we lost. It was a great series, though! Andy made the 9-year-old all-star team and Arbutus had it's first tournament in the Adams Township League. We played Northern Cambria, Indiana, and Forest Hills. We played against Forest Hills and if we won that game, would win the whole tournament. We lost in 8 innings (extra innings over the 6th). It was 15-13 and it came down to the wire! With Arbutus and Forest Hills each having one loss (to each other!), we had play for the championship. It was an awesome game and very close. It was Forest Hill's last at-bat and Arbutus put Andy in to pitch. It was 16-13 Arbutus and Andy struck out the final batter!!! They won and it was a fantastic game!
