{ Summer Salsa }


Now this says "summer!"  I absolutely love this salsa recipe, given to me by Deb.  It is fresh and I could eat the entire batch in one sitting, sadly. 

Recipe:

5 green onions, chopped
2 jalepenos, chopped
1/2 large white onion, diced
1/3 cup garlic, chopped
1/3 can green chilies (I usually use whole can)
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 1/2 cans plum tomatoes, diced (I use 5-6 fresh tomatoes instead)
1 Tbl. kosher salt
1/4 C. sugar
1/4 C. cracked black pepper
1/4 C. red wine vinegar

Mix all together and let stand before serving for flavors to develop.  Refrigerate. Enjoy!
(Goes very will with multi-grain scoops chips; makes 1 gallon)
