{ New York City Weekend }

We took the kids on a bus trip to NYC on Saturday, December 14 through Sunday, December 15 and we had a blast!!! We left at 5 am Saturday morning and were in NYC by 11:30.  We spent the day exploring, shopping, walking, and eating!  We went to the American Girl Store (1st stop off of the bus this year!) and Avery (Ava's doll) got her ears pierced..seriously!  We walked to Central Park, tried to go into FAO Schwartz but the line went around the block :(   and ate at Planet Hollywood.  The kids took their first cab ride too!  It wasn't as crowded as it was this weekend last year when we took the same trip, we were able to walk right up to the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree this year and even see the skating rink.  This weekend we went into the Disney Store, Toys 'R Us, the Lego Store, the Nintendo store, and many more!  We had a fantastic time...by the time we got back to the hotel, we were all out within the hour from all of the walking!  Hopefully we will take the same trip next year!
