bowling to beat boredom

today after the kids finished with CCD we decided to take them bowling...

it has been awhile since we have done this, made quite obvious by my abysmal form and technique...

you can't beat those neon clown shoes (which have had thousands of feet in them) and the never-quite-the-right-feel-size-weight-finger hole size-balls (which have had thousands of fingers in them)..

ava was having more fun "modeling" in the air that the mini fan spat out at her... the wind-blown look with the cat pose, as demonstrated in the first picture...

tim "won" the first game, while i "won" the second game.. i say won loosely because neither kiddo was really trying very hard to knock down those pins.. it was more about how creative they could be flinging said ball down the lane...

we all worked up an appetite apparently, so we headed to Denny's for lunch and had a great afternoon!
