we will miss you 75 Oak Street...

.. what a crazy few weeks we have had...  packing for weeks into boxes, bags, bubble wrap, and shrink wrap...

.. the moving truck came on Wednesday and Thursday last week to load up...unbelievable to pack all of your possessions onto a tractor trailer and watch it drive away...

... we spent our last evening in the house on the living room floor on blankets...felt like we were camping, sort of...

... cleaned up the remainder of our things, fed the fish for the last time (oh Bertha, how we will miss you!).. and took Maggie up to the kennel for the next few days until we are ready for her... and then off to stay with Tim's dad for the next few days until we hit the road on Monday...

...  I will miss this house for so many reasons... it was a beautiful and wonderful home for us for 10 years...  Ava was just a few weeks old when we moved in, Andy only 4...

... I loved the large yard, the privacy, the quiet, the pond, the huge brick wall in the family room, the french doors, the bay window in the kitchen that my parents had installed for us as a surprise while we were on a cruise...

... so many memories of the kids coming down the stairs Christmas morning, movies watched, meals eaten, swimming in the pool, riding the quad through the woods...

... tears came as we drove away, there was no helping it....  I can only hope and pray that we will have as many wonderful memories in our new home....  love you 75 Oak Street....
