a visit from Nana

we've been in the house about a week and Nana and Aunt Bev planned a roadtrip down to see us!!

so wonderful to have them here, to see the house and Charleston, and most importantly, us...

we hit some restaurants like the Shuckin' Shack in Summerville (drinking painkillers and Pearl's Punch) and RB's in Mount Pleasant where we could watch dolphins swim and boats coming in...

mom got to see the ocean for the first time ever!!!  how awesome is that?!...it was so hot (we were at Isle of Palms), that once she saw it for a few moments, she was ready to go!  Aunt Bev said it had been over 30 years since she'd been to the beach, so she and Ava walked to the water to get their feet wet!

playing Rummicube and bullshit in the dining room, Aunt Bev in the pool with Ava, take-out from Steel City Pizza, and a lot of time together...

love you so much mom and Aunt Bev!
