our drive to Kiawah Island

beautiful beach

on Suday we decided to head to the beach...

the temperature was in the high 80's/low 90's and sunny...

we headed to the beach at Kiawah Island, which was about 40 miles away....took us about 70 minutes, and worth every minute!

we stayed for several hours and the water was so warm!...

then off to lunch at Red's Ice House...relaxing and delicious...

we were so exhausted when we got home, too much fun in the sun I guess!
