this past weekend we had decided to make a trip back to Pennsylvania...  we left Wednesday around 5 pm and got back at the perfect time to drop Maggie at the kennel at 7 am...we had made several gas stops, one at South of the Border, of course!, and then at Denny's in Breezewood around 4 am... we made great time overall...

stayed at Larry's and got to visit with him, dinner at Red Lobster w/ my parents, always a good time, Bedford Fall Foliage w/ Ava and Nana...raining and 44 degrees...cold and wet:(  but great spending time with Mom...church at St.Andrew's w/ Larry, Jen, Joe, Deb, Tommy, and Steven and a mass for Peg; the kids all carried up the gifts, it was nice to see.... then dinner at Main Moon...

we had a great time visiting, but worried the entire time, as Hurricane Joaquin was bearing down on the Carolinas...so we were worried about high winds and flooding...  left up there around 8:30 pm Saturday evening and had rain a good portion of the drive home this time..pretty heavy as we were going through North Carolina and then standing water throughout South Carolina...pulled over in a hotel parking lot for a quick break and saw the Oscar Mayer weiner-mobile...too funny!
