beach day...

we took the kids to the beach early yesterday morning to enjoy some time together and beautiful high 60° weather.. the kids took their bikes to ride, but the tide was so far in, they literally ran out of room to bike..so we decided to walk instead.. it was so warm and absolutely perfect... then we walked over and had breakfast at the Acme Lowcountry Kitchen... I finally had my first taste of GRITS...and they were delicious!!! (the waiter told me the trick is to use heavy cream, not water, which makes perfect sense to me!!)...
