a rainy voyage

Yesterday the kids went out on the boat for the first time with us...and we had a blast!!

it started cloudy, but cleared a bit so we thought we were ok...but then it clouded up again and started pouring, I mean really pouring!! man, that stings when it hits your face flying on that boat! we were pretty soaked by the time it cleared up!...

we were down right beside California Dreaming, so we pulled the boat in and docked and went to have drinks at the outside bar (beer for Tim and I, root beer for Andy, and a Shirley Temple for Ava)....it was so fun to pull up to a restaurant in a boat!! never thought I would do that!!!
