sweet treat

school was cancelled AGAIN on friday for the kids, as was work for me (lack of work...)...

ava had gotten her 6th nose bleed in as many days, so i called the pediatrician to see if we should be concerned and they said to bring her in to get checked out...

so andy, ava, and I headed to the peds and got her nostrils inspected... no worries, just congested/inflammed from the severe cold and temperature changes going on; but the flu mist was still available and neither kiddo had gotten it yet, so.....

andy got his mist like a champ, ava started to bawl!  seriously, it's just a quick little squirt up the nose and she was freaking out :(

finally she sat on my lap and got the mist (yeah)...then we had to race out the door to make it to andy's orthodontist appointment right down the road within 5 minutes...

andy came out of his appointment smiling....they told him he will get his braces off at his next appointment in April!! yeah!!!   that would only be 20 months of having them on...not too bad!!

so after all of these appointments, i decided to take them to sweet frog to get a quick treat... we were the only ones in there and we built ourselves quite a nice sundae!!!
